Youth Specialties offers a great day workshop in Youth Ministry for adult leaders called “The Core”. There are 4 locations in/near the New England Synod: Lexington, MA; Lebanon, NH; Hartford, CT; and Albany, NY. This day event features great speakers, tons of good resources for your ministry and a chance to be around other adults who are desiring to improve their ministry skills. I went ot this training last year with one of my parents. We had a great time and learned a lot about how to serve our kids and their families in times of crisis. This year’s focus on youth being leaders totally excites me! I am hoping to send 4 or 5 youth and some parents. If you have anyone who wants to go let me know and maybe we can carpool! peace.
