10 09 2008

The Get Drenched Team will be sponsoring a special day of workshops and networking for adults and senior high youth on Oct. 18 at Good Shepherd Lutheran in Westborough, MA.

The day will include a variety of workshops, some still TBA, but will include: opportunities to brainstorm ideas for helping your group get the most out of the National Youth Gathering, using technology in your ministry with a review of on-line resources, creating a safe environment for youth, and building a healthy youth ministry in your congregation.  If you have used the Get Drenched Resource (available for download here at our blog) you can share how this is working in your congregation with others who are also working through developing best practices in youth ministry.

For details, simply download and print our brochure (it’s a PDF file) and send your registration in by October 12.  We would love to see at least one youth and one adult from each congregation!     drenched-oct-event
